Patrick Hickey, MAT, FNP, PMHNP
Patrick Hickey is a dual certified family psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. He began his health career enlisting as United States Naval hospital corpsman at 18 and working various assignments including several Naval, Army and Airforce bases as well as the USS Comfort and Mercy hospital ships. Patrick pursued a bachelors and Masters degree in nursing at Molloy College in Rockville Centre NY and moved to the Tampa Bay Where he completed a masters in family practice nursing as well as an Executive MBA with University of South Tampa Business school. He has extensive community health experience, palliative care, acute care, medical surgical, intensive care and emergency room experience working inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units, including detox units, acute crisis units, intensive outpatient programs and a military PTSD program.
He is married and has 3 sons and 2 daughters and enjoys spending weekends on the beach paddle boarding in the gulf beaches and freshwater springs of Florida.
Patricks practice goals are to assist patients to find a path to elevate their life to the highest level y identifying and utilizing their inherent strengths and support systems in addition to support from providers utilizing a team based approach of care.
Providers using evidence based practice principles paired with patient centric principles improve outcomes and add value to their patients lives.

Depression, Anxiety, panic disorder OCD, Tourette’s, Bipolar disorder, substance abuse and alcoholism, autism, schizophrenia, LGBTQ, PTSD- military, physical, emotional and sexual trauma, geriatric care, dementia care.
