Our providers have an average of over 25 years of experience and are licensed professionals in the State of Florida with training in the fields of Psychiatry, Nursing, Counseling and Addictions. We operate on the philosophy that enhancing the lives of those in need is our primary goal.
Our offices are conveniently located at the Medical Office Park at the intersection of Alternate 19 and Alderman Road in Palm Harbor. We have a support staff that genuinely cares about our clients and treats everyone with warmth, dignity and respect. All institute staff adhere to the strictest confidentiality policy. The providers in our group practice belong to panels for over 10 insurance companies and each practitioner understands the need for providing only medically necessary cost effective care.
The Brain Enhancement Institute was founded by Ron Lopez MD. Dr. Lopez who is certified by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Child Psychiatry. He is also one of only a few local psychiatrists who are certified to prescribe suboxone for the treatment of opiate addiction. The Institute has five additional affiliate providers with skills and experience in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
